WOMCO Iconic Magazine
A Decade of Musical Mentorship
The WOMCO Iconic Magazine is extended by invitation only to a select group of musicians who have demonstrated sustained excellence across multiple international competitions. Featured here are three of Ms Jin Loh’s students — each with an extraordinary story of long-term commitment that spans a decade or more.
What is the WOMCO Iconic Magazine?
The WOMCO Iconic Magazine is an exclusive, individually curated digital publication produced by the World Organisation for Music Competition (WOMCO) — one of the world’s foremost international online music competition networks. Each edition is thoughtfully created for a select group of outstanding musicians who have demonstrated exceptional achievement across multiple WOMCO international competitions.
Featuring the musician’s portrait on the cover and a personal feature story within, it is extended by invitation to a limited number of multi-award winners per year. Being featured in the WOMCO Iconic Magazine is a mark of sustained musical excellence and long-term dedication — not something awarded lightly.
Three of Ms Jin Loh’s students have been individually featured — each documenting their long-term musical journey of 10 or more years of continuous study.

Cello · Singing (Musical Theatre)
Dr. Imran began his musical journey with Ms Jin Loh studying the cello, and years later expanded to singing under her guidance. His dedication to learning — pursued alongside a demanding career in medicine — is remarkable. By the time the WOMCO Iconic Magazine featured him in 2023, he had been studying continuously with Ms Jin Loh for 10 years. As of 2026, Dr. Imran’s unbroken journey with Ms Jin Loh stands at 13 years — making him one of the longest-tenured students under Ms Jin Loh’s tutelage.
In 2025, he achieved a Distinction in ABRSM Singing for Musical Theatre Grade 8 — a prestigious result that crowns over a decade of musical growth. A doctor by profession, an artist by dedication.

Cello
Wen Yan began learning cello with Ms Jin Loh as a career professional, at an age when most adults would not pick up a new instrument. Her journey is a testament to the belief that it is never too late to pursue a deep love for music. She continued her lessons without interruption — even through the MCO lockdown period during the pandemic, seamlessly transitioning from physical face-to-face lessons to 100% online via Zoom.
When the WOMCO Iconic Magazine featured Wen Yan in 2024, it formally documented 10 unbroken years of study with Ms Jin Loh. As of 2026, Wen Yan has now been learning continuously for 12 years — never missing a beat, even across the most challenging times in recent history. She has also been honoured with 4 Major WOMCO Awards across 2023–2024.

Singing
Celine See is a high-achieving professional — a Country Head in her corporate career — who has continued learning singing with Ms Jin Loh for a decade. She once joked that in the corporate world, it is rare to find someone staying with the same company for more than 5 years. Yet Celine herself has been learning continuously with Ms Jin Loh, year after year, for over 10 years.
The WOMCO Iconic Magazine 2025 formally documents 9 years of continuous study with Ms Jin Loh at the time of publication. By 2026, Celine celebrated her 10th year of unbroken learning — a remarkable testament to the depth of the teacher-student bond that Ms Jin Loh builds with her students.
